Shure announces its latest microphone innovations at NAMM 2025

With CES 2025 barely over, the audio and music manufacturing industry now turns its attention to NAMM 2025, the National Music Dealers Association held at the Anaheim Convention Center from January 23rd to 25th.

Shure is one of the big names announcing new products at NAMM with the launch of three new products. The company will also provide NAMM attendees with a closer look at the new Axient® Advanced PSM digital in-ear monitoring system and MV7i microphone and smart interface.

The first announcement is the expansion of Shure’s Nexadyne product line with the introduction of three all-new dynamic instrument microphones: the Nexadyne 2 Kick Drum Microphone, the Nexadyne 5 Guitar Amp Microphone and the Nexadyne 6 Tom/Snare Microphone.

Every Nexadyne microphone incorporates Shure’s patented Revonic™ dual motor transducer technology. While most instrument microphones can use a single transducer, Nexadyne microphones have two calibrated transducers working together for optimal performance, which Shure says can deliver natural, authentic clarity while minimizing unwanted noise.

Prices for Nexadyne instrument microphones start at $219 / £215 / €255.

Next up from Shure are the SLX-D four-channel digital receivers, now available in both standard (SLXD4Q+) and Dante-enabled (SLXD4QDAN+) versions. Paired with existing SLX-D transmitters, the new Digital Quad-Channel Receivers feature the SLX-D digital wireless feature set with a range of new and improved capabilities, including an expanded 138 MHz tuning capability, enabling the versatility of frequency throughout the country.

The SLXD4Q+ is available now for $2,400 / £2,289 / €2,739. The Dante-enabled SLXD4QDAN+ receiver is also available now and priced at $3,200 / £2,949 / €3,669. This price includes the quad receiver, power supply, hardware kit, two ¼-wave antennas, two BNC cables, two rack mount brackets, two BNC Bulkhead adapters, one ethernet cable, plus mounting feet. The SM39 vocal performance headset microphone is another new launch at NAMM 2025 and is specifically designed for performers who need the freedom to move boldly while on stage without compromising sound quality. The microphone is lightweight and has a low profile design for a comfortable and secure fit that is ideal for extended use. Headphones enable musicians – from lead vocalists to instrumentalists – to focus on their stage presence. The SM39 integrates with Shure Axient® Shure digital and all wireless systems for reliable sound.

The SM39 is available now with prices starting at $399 / £379 / €439. The price includes internal and external windows as well as collar clips. For more information on the SM39, visit www.shure.com/SM39.

Finally, building on the KSM11’s reputation as the premium standard for vocal microphones, the Shure KSM11 Wired now offers high-end performance for artists and engineers looking for an XLR solution for live performance, broadcasting, simulcasting, and live streaming apps. The KSM11 requires far less processing and EQ to reproduce the true quality and intelligibility of artists’ vocals.

The KSM11 Wired Microphone (XLR), retails for $799 / £749 and is on display at the Shure booth (#15608) at NAMM 2025.
